New Jersey

Last night, I flew into Newark, New Jersey. I went to work in the morning yesterday, got home, packed and headed to the airport. My flight was supposed to leave at 5:45 p.m. and well lets just say that did not happen. We were about to board the airplane when they announced it would delayed because of air traffic in Newark. They told us they would have an update in 45 minutes. 45 minutes came along and they then told us that they would give us another update in an hour. It didn't take an hour, but we started boarding and 7 p.m. and we took off around 7:30 p.m. I was extremly tired and I fell asleep right after we took off. I woke up about 20 minutes before we were supposed to land. I was so excited to finally get there. We landed and everyone was standing up getting thier luggage, and they announce that they suggest that we sit down because the doors were frozen shut. I never heard of anything like this and I was getting angry, I just wanted to get off of that plane. When I went outside, it was FREEZING out. With the windchill it was only 9 degrees out. I am not used to this weather AT all. My Aunt and my cousin picked me up and we went back to their house. Today, we basiclly just chilled out and rested. We are going to New York tomorrow or Tuesday so I will be sure to put up pictures =]

Welcome to my blog!

It's Sunday Feburary 17 and I am extremly tired! Although I love my job, the hours suck. I work at Starbucks in Naples and well on the weekends we open at 6:30, but I have to be there by 5:45 which means waking up around 4:45 in the morning. It is even worse during the week. If I have to open during the week, we have to be there by 5:15 in the morning, which means waking up at 4:15. It has really been taking a toll on me lately. I am so tired and worn out. It is hard to work 5 or 6 days a week and still go to school. But, I am trying my best and hopefully my grades will not suffer because of it. I don't really have time to even have a life anymore. I don't have a day off until next Sunday and I have been working since Wednesday the 13th! I am hopefully getting promoted soon though. I am going to finally have a break. I am not working at all during spring break. I am going up to New Jersey (I am originally from there). I thought about it afterwards and I have no idea why I even thought about going up there now. Last week it was 11 degrees. Oh well I already booked my plane ticket before I thought about it. But I am excited to finally be able to get a break. During Christmas break I worked 52 hours one week, and 43 the other so I am in a need for a vacation =]. Well, I will write more later =]
